Memories and more memories..it was no mean fit doing a show preceded by Dennis Wilson when ragga was the in-thang in the Ghettos of Zim..It was magical, though, that Kelvin always held fort for the soul heads beyond their expectations – winning over music lovers from the other side in the process. It was the music, the voice, the delivery and projection of voice which was flawless and effortless so much that it was the natural thing to do for me and posse in Zororo, Lusaka, Old Highfields and other areas outside my hood to tune in to the Late Night Soul Selection.
Fast 4ward a decade and half and the Chief Exec of the Soul Movement returns to the game consistently impressive and we are feeling u right there! One of them fine days l wl sourjoun the many miles to England from my new base in Scotland to be blessed by Kelvin, Mujay and Mista C by their rare repetoire of rare grooves…
Meanwhile Daisy Heaks’ Back on my feet is getting me bopping its mind-blowing!
God bless u Kel and the whole Musicave crew.

Hello,
I’ve just discovered your site and I loooove it. That’s exactly the kind of music I wish I could hear more often. Thanks for your work.
Your mix “Morning Showers” is da bomb but I can’t download it since the download stops around 86% and fails.
Could you please help me get it ?
Thanks a lot.
See you !

Your comments are much appreciated, many thanks for all for the support.
Tindo, I have gone through the Housed Out playlist, it is actually an 8 track mix, I have corrected the playlist accordingly…
You have got it sassed out, these soul mixes make a good sound soundtrack to life and there is no better way to enjoy music than while driving along in your car or on a good stereo at home. I almost always take the long route home…..
Keep listening and keep the feedback coming; we are currently working to improve the site. Changes will evident in the next couple of weeks.
Spread the word

Hi guys
So i have been listening to the mixes and they are very good. We went out on the town here in down town Toronto to the club district and i had a bunch of people in the car, i was playing my IPOD through the car stereo system and i had Mr Cee’s Limitation and housed mix in the cue followed by Mujay soul mix 3 and 4. My friends all Canadian loved the mixes and kept on asking where they could get this mix cd or what have you. The mixes are very seamless and are like a musical odyssey taking you to a happy groovy place. I would want to say that they are almost like film scores but the difference is that they are scoring images in your mind as you listen. Makes sense? what is the song on my Mr Cee’s housed mix, the second last song, who sang that song?
Anyway good job guys looking forward to more mixes.

I found this website by accident but it was such as happy accident. I love this guys, you should have done it long ago but thank you for doing this. I like you guys, i love the grooves you play and the chemistry in your team. I just want to take time to appreciate the master, the greatest soul dj that was, is and will ever be, the chief executive of the Zimbabwean soul movement, Kelvin Soul Supreme Sifelani! My God do you guys know the sweet memories that you brought to me, the saturday nights when we used listen to the radio, the times when Kelvin used to do guest spots at night clubs when Zimbabwe was still Zimbabwe. His selection has really pleased me to the core guys, he still has that magic touch, it is the combination of the music, the things he says and how he says them, the total package. It was a brilliant idea to bring Kelvin and i really hope he becomes a regular on your station. i am sitting here listening to his session for the third time drinking a cold beer and finishing my work project. I am really loving this. Thanks Mr Cee, Mujay and the soul supreme.
Your new number 1 fan from Canada!

Well done guys, enjoying the music. At least I can identify myself with this kinda of music. It is awesome and sentimental.
Musiqave reminds me of those days, way, way back. Those are the days when we glued our ears to the top 20 and sung these songs, word for word.Talk about Miss Schools et al and of course playing music, chilling in the hood. It was such great fun, being young, full of life and just having a good time in that good life.
Oh those were the days! Hope to hear more old old skool. Keep it real!
