Mixsensei was born in Zambia, and flame grilled in Zimbabwe Skies (Bulawayo) A boy who learnt his mixing from ‘Otis the Flow’ and ‘Double K’ (Kimble Rodgers). I have an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) for 80′s Genre Music, especially ‘Rare Groove’, Boogie, R&B and British Soul…..my vinyl collection is scary. Respect to all the Radio 3 DJ’s from back in the day, they inspired a whole generation of people beyond race, colour and creed to share a passion for the music we still appreciate today; my quest is to continue where they left off, breaking barriers through music! First came the DJ, Then came VJ, now we have the IJ (Internet Jockey) – Mixsensei. I post videos on YouTube because l love this genre of music and my passion is to share with others The tunes l post are not typically the commercial 80′s which are widely available; rather they are mostly ‘rare’ club tunes (from vinyl, including 12 inch white labels) from my vast collection aimed at the 80′s connoisseur!!…ENJOY!!
