NYC, Nov. 11th, 2009: R&B vocalist and Tony Award-winner Melba Moore along with Indie Record label Breaking Records is set to release the “Book of Dreams” EP in hard copy form December 2009. The digital version of the EP is available now through itunes, amazon, napster, Rhapsody and everywhere.
“Book of Dreams” is a Dance Album featuring 3 remixes and an instrumental. The song was written by Pat Maiorino and Andy Sarnoff who penned two songs for Nancy Wilson and Branford Marsalis’ Grammy nominated album “Forbidden Lover” and have also had a number 1 single, “Catch the Light” with Martha Wash among many other artists who have covered their vast catalogue.
Melba had a special affinity for the message of “Book of Dreams” about pursuing your dream and overcoming the odds, which led her to record the EP.
The tracks were mixed and Produced by DJ Louie Balo & DJ Trakkula.
Mark Edward Nero of Guide to R&B/Soul states: “[The]Original mix of “Book of Dreams” sounds great. Melba has always been, and still remains a stellar, powerful vocalist.”
